Suffering as a Christian to Victory

When we have faith, will things always be easy? Should we wait until God makes things reasonably overcome-able, or are we, at times, to suffer until we obtain the victory? We learn from our Lord Jesus that He suffered in the flesh, yet He did not sin. How does suffering as a Christian fit into our spiritual lives? 1 Peter 4 tells us, “Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin.”
